I relate so much to this. I remember one time when Psalm 27:14 was the only response I got. It strengthened me even though it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Thank you Lord because it was all worth it. 🙌🏽
Yes, who knew there was strength to be found in waiting!
Thank you for sharing this message. I have waited a lot on the Lord in my life. Like you said, Elohim (God) does some of His best work while we actively wait and waiting is a form of worship!
My family has been 'actively waiting' in the Middle East for the past 10 years. We recently started our Substack called 9 Sojourners (there are 9 in my family). Through 9 Sojourners, we want to share the steps of our journey -- the quiet moments with our Messiah, the comical cultural encounters, the books, poems, songs, stories, and art we’ve created, and most importantly... the lessons learned as we wait.

Wow, love the Joseph story…God with him…waiting 13 years…ultimately God’s man to save lives!
And it’s true, God never is delayed in his plan for us, even when we can’t see the way forward, and the resolution years in the making. The deepest roots in our immediate family grew during the times of transition, turbulence and waiting.
Thank you for the reminder that God's silence does not mean he's forgotten me and that he continues to work behind the scenes preparing me for his purposes.
Thank you for this article. I'm in a new season . . . one of waiting, hardship, AND yet seeing the Lord answering long ago prayers. You are right. The Lord works mightily in the waiting season and hardship.
Love this. Especially “Remember that waiting is worship.” It really shows how shifting our perspective of a situation can change how we respond to it.
Loved this, it was very timely for me 🥹Thank you! 🙏🏾

The kingdom of God is within you.
Nobody seems to understand that.
What and who are you waiting for?
WE are who we've been waiting for.
Don't you know that the kingdom of God is in you?
What is it you're waiting for?
God is right on time. He opened the Red Sea when He was ready. He closed the Red Sea when He was ready.
